Calvin Kielas-Jensen has been awarded the Department of Defense Science, Mathematics, and Research for Transformation Scholarship.

Camilla Tabasso has been awarded the PhD Student Excellence award by the College of Engineering, University of Iowa.

We are happy and proud that Calvin has been selected to participate in the Naval Research Enterprise Intern Program (NREIP) Fall Engagement, where he will be applying his state-of-the-art work on motion planning to marine vehicle navigation.

Camilla’s and Nick’s works have been accepted for publication and presentation at the 2021 AIAA SciTech conference.

Camilla has been awarded the fellowship for her work on cooperative control, time coordination, and collision avoidance in multi-vehicle missions.

Calvin Kielas-Jensen has received the Outstanding Mentorship Award from the College of Engineering.

Calvin presented his work on trajectory generation using Bernstein polynomials at the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and System (IROS) 2019.
