We are proud to announce that Sabrina has been honored with the prestigious Office of Undergraduate Research’s Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award for the 2024-2025 academic year. This accolade is in recognition of her work in the field of robotics at the university's CAS lab.

Sabrina’s project focuses on the development of a flexible soft robotic arm, a remarkable achievement in the realm of soft robotics. This device, driven by twisted and coiled artificial muscles, stands at the forefront of robotic technology. This award underscores Sabrina's significant contributions to research at the University of Iowa and highlights her as a leading representative of undergraduate research in her field. 

Sabrina will receive the award at the Celebration of Student and Postdoctoral Researchers, set to be held on February 28, 2024, at the Englert Theater.
